An Invitation from Becky Rasmussen
Thanks to you it’s been an astounding year.
We moved our office. We helped convene the East River Human Trafficking Task Force. We met with more members of the community than ever before. We’ve been able to make strides on the labor trafficking piece of our mission. We’ve seen legislation signed and trained service providers across the state.
It’s been a whirlwind to say the least.
The daily rush sets my focus on the work that lies ahead. There’s a lot of it, and we’re energized by the possibilities that are opening up in our community.
But as important as looking ahead is, this time of year, I also find myself glancing back at all we’ve accomplished. Each Tuesday a group of women gather in our new conference room to plan our biggest event of the year — the CommUnity Breakfast. As we hash out the details, I’m reminded of milestones crossed, goals met, lives changed.
This will be our third annual CommUnity Breakfast. I sincerely hope you’ll join us for it. This year’s event will be —
Thursday, October 18
Sioux Falls Convention Center
This is a fundraiser, though no one is obligated to give. More than anything, we don’t want you to miss the celebration of all that your support has accomplished this year!
We’re also planning a big announcement that will have a huge impact on the services we provide to our clients. We can barely wait to share it.
If you haven’t already, RSVP using this link https://bit.ly/2vzOlxJ. If you have friends you’d like to invite and think that hosting a table is for you, contact us at [email protected] for more information.
Thank you! Truly. I don’t just see presentations and organization charts when I look back over this past year at Call to Freedom. I see you, our supporters and volunteers, who have spurred us on.
I hope you’ll let us thank you for your investment in person on October 18.
